What is Tallaght Drugs Task Force?
Tallaght Drugs Task Force is a multi-agency partnership responsible for the local implementation of the Governments' national Drugs Strategy. It is one of 14 Local Drug Task Forces in Ireland which commission and co-ordinate high quality drug support services across Tallaght (Dublin 24) . It achieves this by working in partnership with all those concerned to reduce the harm caused by substance misuse.
The Task Force consists of a wide range of professional representatives who meet regularly to implement the national drugs strategy across its 5 pillars of Education/Prevention; Treatment; Rehabilitation, Family Support and Research. Currently, the Task Force provide strategic and operational support to 15 different projects.
